52 Weeks | Week 4
- Take Me Dancing, The Maine. I have hated every single new song of The Maine’s lately, I just don’t really like the direction they are going, but this song just really got me this week. I fell in love with it. I love the simplicity of the song, and how John’s voice sounds. I love the line that’s like “Give me thunder, give me lightening, and I will give you every part of me.” Its honestly the best song I’ve heard in a while. I really just love it. I am so glad I’m able to say this about a song by them again, I was beginning to worry.
- Write My Number On Your Hand, Scotty Mcreery. This is such an upbeat summer song, and I’ve already got it on my summer playlist, I hope he makes it his single then, because I will be so happy. I just cannot wait for summer, its going to be so exciting and I’m really happy for it to almost be here, just kidding its barely February. But I just love the idea of summer love and just summer in general and country music in the summer. I just cannot wait to drive around blasting this the entire time.
- See You When I See You, Jason Aldean. This week, my best friend’s boyfriend was supposed to leave for boot camp for the US Coast Guard, which was going to be a huge setback for their relationship. I have never been so worried, and then she posted this song as her status, and I broke down and cried for her. It just is so perfect for their relationship and everything makes me think of them and how special what they have is. She is truly a lucky one. And I hope she never takes that for granted.
- Mr. Winter, The Maine. This is probably one of my favorite songs right now, it just really describes me right now. You left me Mr. Winter, did you miss me for the times you’ve been gone? Nope you didn’t. I just love this song so much its so cute and presh and perfect.
- Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye, Luke Bryan. I absolutely love this man. And this week every time I’ve heard this song I haven’t been able to stop smiling. This song is just so truthful for me and past relationships and it just makes me look back and smile because I’m not the only one going through this. But I love the line that goes “Love me like you loved me when you loved me and we didn’t have to try, let’s lay down tonight and kiss tomorrow goodbye” I honestly think its the best moving on break up song. Its really adorable, I hope he releases it as a single, the video would be hot ;)
PS: I love Savannah
